Whats Dandelion?

Customer: What’s dandelion?
Michael: Dandelion is sort of like a mocha. It comes from the roasted roots of dandelions which for years were use as an alternative to coffee.

Michael: Yes in fact dandelions came to North America with the settler’s way back when.
Customer: Wow! It’s nice. I would have never known.
Michael: That’s right. People would have planted them next to their tomatoes and they would roast, grind and brew hot water through the dandelions.
Customer: Hmm!
Michael: Then enter the industrial revolution and people were able to get coffee so easily they had no use for the dandelions anymore.
Customer: Riiight.
Michael: Of course by then the damage had already been done. What we see as a weed would actually be an important part of peoples lives.
Customer: I’ll have a single scoop of it.
Michael: Great.
Customer: OH! What’s ginger?
Michael: Ginger is more like a ginger ale float rather than say something you would put in a sauce.
